  1. How do I order a product on your website?
To place your order, you must select an “order by” method and follow the steps presented to you. For example, you may order by feature, type, sport, or gender. Feature represents color, fabric, lining, style, price, and size. Type represents custom, grab bag, prints, and solids. For sports, select the sport that you are buying for. And gender is male and female. The website will guide you through all the options available to you from that point on.

If you are ordering a product as a member of a team, there are two ways to do so. The first option is to select the “order by” feature, then select team name. Chose your country and state to locate your team name. (If your team name does not appear, then your team needs to follow this LINK.) When you click on your team name, the website will walk you through the ordering process step by step. Eventually, you will need to log in as a team member to receive your team discount. The second option for ordering a product as a team member is to log in to the site, by clicking on the words "Log In" at the top right corner of the screen, and using your e-mail address and password. You can then order your team suit or buy any product on our site. We give discounts to team members on all products that have special team prices, even if you are only ordering one item. But you must log in to the site in order to order your team suit and also receive any discounts that may be available to you as a team member.

5. What Methods of Payment do you accept?

6. Returns, exchanges, late changes and cancelations

6.1 Returns and exchanges
HEALTH REGULATIONS STIPULATE THAT SWIMWEAR THAT IS SOILED, WORN, SNAGGED, DAMAGED OR LAUNDERED IS CONSIDERED TO BE IN OTHER THAN "AS NEW" CONDITION AND CANNOT BE RETURNED. Therefore, it is important that you examine the item(s) in your order prior to usage. If you would like to return any of the unused item(s) in your order within 30 days, please log in to our website ( using your login ID and password. Follow the return items link for detailed instructions to obtain a return merchandise authorization (RMA). An RMA is required for all returns. In some cases, a restocking fee may be assessed. Also note that Agon only reimburses shipping if a mistake has been made by our company. In all other cases, the customer must pay for return shipping and the shipping costs of both the new and returned item(s). If you would like to exchange your item(s), please follow the return instructions above, and then place a new order. To ensure items you are returning to us arrive securely, we suggest you protect yourself against loss by sending merchandise via Insured Mail or UPS. Please allow 2 billing cycles for the credit to appear on your statement.

6.2 Late changes and cancelations
Please note that when you place your order for a custom item, the order is final. Once we have begun production on any order, we cannot change or cancel the order. If you must change or cancel your order for any reason, we will charge a cancelation fee to cover the costs incurred in producing your order, including materials, design, labor, and transportation costs.

7. How do you Ship?:
We will ship you your items with any shipping company you prefer. tends to work with UPS and USPS for US domestic shipments and FedEx for international shipping. It is our policy to charge you approximately the same rate the shipping companies charge us, plus a handling fee. For more detailed shipping prices please follow the links below.

8. Questions about the Dye Process

8.1 What is the Agon Dye method®?

8.2 How long does it take you to make products using the Dye Method ®?
2 to 4 weeks. From the time your team’s design is finalized and approved by the team’s representative and sizes are received. From the team’s perspective, after the design is approved, we send you a sizing kit. If your team delays in sending us your sizes, it may prolong the process beyond the 2 to 4 weeks. For an additional rush fee, we can speed up this process for you. You can see real time lead times and rush fees by following this LINK.

8.3 Do you need the sizes at the same time the design is approved by the team?
No. To begin the dying process, only needs an approximate number of male and female suits. But your team shouldn’t take more than about one week to complete its sizing to ensure that you receive your suits within the 2 to 4 weeks time frame. 8.4 Can my team use the 2 to 4 weeks to improve my design?
No. The Dye process doesn’t begin until the design is finished and approved by the team’s representative. After that point, no changes to the design can be made.

8.5 If my team design a suit that is similar to one of those pictured in the homepage, can my team receive it faster?
No. Each and every order that involves any customization via the Dye Method® requires 2 to 4 weeks from the time your team’s design is finalized and approved by the team’s representative and sizes are received. We make the suits just for you and this requires the entire Dye process. For an additional rush fee, we can speed up this process for you. 9. Questions about Custom Dying for Teams

9.1 How do I know how to sketch my designs?
We provide silhouettes of all our products for you to use as the basis of your sketches, follow this LINK. You can also see design ideas and other aides on our custom page by following this LINK.

9.2 Can help me design a suit for my team?
Yes. has graphic artists who can sketch a few possible designs for your team. You can use one of their designs, or you can take their ideas as a starting point for your own creativity. And this service is FREE!

9.3 Is there a minimum quantity for reorders?
No. Your team can order one suit or many suits after the initial order is received. Often, team members who originally do not order a suit see how great the suits look on the rest of the team and they decide to order a suit. No problem.

9.4 What is the price of reorders?
The price of reorders is the same as the price for the original order.

9.5 How long do we have to wait for reorders?
Reorders take approximately 2 to 4 weeks. When you place your original team order, we will ask you for an estimate of the total number of suits your team could possibly order in a single season. As long as your reorders do not exceed that original estimate, all reorders will take 2 to 3 weeks. For an additional rush fee, we can speed up this process for you. 9.6 How do I select the colors for my team’s suits?
To communicate your team colors to us, you can simply describe the color in words, perhaps comparing your colors to the colors of suits found in our catalog or in the website. You can also send us a swatch of fabric, although that takes more time. The most precise method is to use the Pantone formula guide system, where you give us a Pantone number that specifically identifies the exact color your team wants. Most universities have official Pantone colors and some high schools might have official colors as well. To see some sample colors follow this LINK.

9.7 Can I have one suit made with my design so we can see how it looks before we order for the entire team?
It is possible, but it would be expensive. Most teams buy a "grab bag" suit to see how suits wear in the water. Based on the quality of the "grab bag" suit, which is a suit made for another team using the Dye method®, most teams feel confident that their suits will be great. Another way to test out the Dye Method® is to buy one of our prints or solids.

9.8 Can my team personalize its suits with each athlete’s name?
Yes. In a team order, any number (some or all) of the athletes on the team can have their name dyed into our products. This costs $4.00 per item.
More specifically, we treat the athlete’s name as first name or last name or nick name. If two athletes have the same name, we can include an initial to differentiate them.
Standard personalization is in Arial Black 48 point font, which is approximately 0.5 inches (13mm) tall. Customers may change the font if they desire, but if the font the customer selects at 48 points is not close to 0.5 inches (13mm) in height, then the font point size will be adjusted to achieve the 0.5 inches (13mm) inch size.
We can also customize suits by including an athlete’s number, which also costs $4.00 per suit. The athlete’s number will be in Arial Black 150 point font. Again, if the customer selects an non-standard font that at 150 points is not approximately 1.5 inches (38mm) tall, then the point size will be adjusted.
The personalization will be written exactly as presented to us in the order or/and agreement, in terms of upper and lower case (and spelling).

9.10 Can my team change the color of the lining?
Yes. We can line the suit front only or front and back, in most of our standard colors. The cost to change the color of the lining depends on the quantity of suits your team is ordering as well as how you want the suit lined. Send an e-mail or call for a quote. Be sure to specify what color you want the lining and whether you want front only, or front and back.

9.11 Can my team have contrast stitching on my suit?
For example, if my team orders solid black suits, can you sew the suits with yellow thread? Yes. charges an additional $2.00 per suit for contrast stitching. Some restrictions may apply depending on the style you order.

9.12 Can my team order a mixture of style and materials?
Yes. Your team can order any combination of materials, such as polyflex and paper, and styles, such as training suits and male brief suits.

9.13 Can my team remove the logo from our custom product?
Yes. The fee to remove the logo is $4.

10. Questions about Prints for Teams

10.1 Is there a special price for team orders of prints?
Yes, the team price for 12 or more suits is listed wherever there are prices. You can also check out our prices by following this LINK.

10.2 Can I change the colors of a print so it matches my team’s colors?
Yes! We can change the colors of any print made with the Dye Method®. Just tell us the colors you want, according to the print you want. For example, if a print has three colors, such as blue, black, and gray, you can choose three alternative colors, such as navy blue, royal blue, and yellow.

10.3 Can I add my team’s name or/and logo to the print?
Yes! If you would like that type of customization, you should look into a completely custom dyed suit.

11. Questions about Individually Ordered Suits

11.1 As an individual, can I buy a custom-dyed team swimsuit made just for me with my own personal design?
Yes, we can make a custom-dyed suit for one person, but please note that making a single custom-dyed suit is expensive.

11.2 As an individual, can I buy a custom-dyed team swimsuit I see in your catalog (or on the website)?
Yes. Most of the custom-dyed swimsuits in the photographs in our catalog and on our website are made especially for teams. However, you can order one of these suits, but if you are not on the team, it would be considered a custom-dyed suit for one person and it would be very expensive. On the other hand, if you are interested in testing our custom-dyed products and you don't care about the particular design, you can buy a "grab bag" suit, which are brand new, but left over designs from teams that have changed their designs. You can't specify the team design you'll receive with a "grab bag" suit.

11.3 As an individual, can I buy one custom-dyed team swimsuit to test before I place a team order?
Yes and No. Making only one suit tends to be very expensive. If you would like to try out a custom dyed team suit, you can buy a "grab bag" suit, which are brand new, but left over suits from teams. You can’t specify the team you’ll receive, but you can try out our product before you order for your team. Another way to test out the Dye Method® is to buy one of our prints or solids.

11.4 As an individual, can I buy a single suit from my local swim shop?
It may be possible, but the answer is most likely No. tried to get local swim shops to carry it’s products for years, but these shops tend to only carry the big name swimwear brands. You can buy your suit directly from by sending us an e-mail ( ) or calling our 877 number (1.877.718.9403). If your local swim shop is willing to buy products, we would be happy to sell them to the shop. They can call us at (877) 718-9403 x55. The price charges is the same price that the swim shops charge. 11.5 Are the products on your website currently in stock?

12. Other Team Related Questions

12.1 Does sponsor teams?
At the present time, is too small a company to sponsor teams. But by being small, we are able to offer you much more personalized service than the larger companies where you end up being just a number. does offer discounts to large teams, just ask when you place your order if you are large enough to qualify.

12.2 Do you make custom dyed suits for summer leagues with short seasons?
Yes, but the team has to be well organized. Here is an example of a smooth, no worry summer league scenario. First, the team representative needs to create a design for the team well in advance of when the suits are needed (we recommend six weeks before the picture day or first swim meet, whichever is first). Then, we send a sizing kit to the team representative so that he/she has it at the time of team registration. As the team members register for the team, they size themselves for their Agon suit. The team representative may place the initial order for the team or he/she may direct each team member to place his/her own order on our website. If the date of the picture day or first swim meet is less than four weeks from the team registration date, then the team will have to pay a rush fee. We recommend that the team representative hold onto the sizing kit through the first swim meet, to accommodate any swimmer who misses the registration. All subsequent orders can be placed individually by team members via our website.

12.3 Can I buy my team’s suits from a local swim shop or dealer?
Yes. can sell you your custom dyed swimwear through your local dealer. The dealer price should be the same. Just have your dealer give us a call at (877) 718-9403 and we will work out the details. will still work with you to arrive at the perfect design for your team. 12.4 Can my team get some sample suits?
Yes and No. is too small to provide teams with free samples. We are willing to send you a suit to examine for quality, but you will have to return it to We will need a Visa, Mastercard, or American Express number from your team’s representative before we can send you the samples. In the case that you do not return the suit(s), we will charge your account for the sample(s). Another way to go is to buy an affordable "grab bag" suit that you can actually test out in the water.

13. Quality and care of suits uses the highest quality materials and sewing processes for all its suits. However, it is a fact of life that lycra fabric has a limited usable life in chlorinated water. How long your suit lasts depends on the fit of the suit, how you take care of the suit, and the pool conditions where you use your suit.

Your suit will last the longest if you do not machine wash it. Soap and soap contain detergents that harm spandex. It is important to rinse your suit in cold, clean water each time you wear it to remove chlorine and perspiration. It is best to hang your suit to dry, rather than leaving it in a bag or rolled up in a towel. If you fit yourself correctly and rinse and dry your suit according to these instructions, you will find that your suit lasts much longer than other brands of swimwear.

Fitting: uses a high quality spandex that does not stretch out like other manufacturers’ suits. Therefore, you should not feel that your suit fits tightly. suits will not “relax” or stretch out over time, so make sure your suit fits comfortably now. If your suit it too tight, it will wear unevenly and will not last as long. If you think your suit is too tight, send it back before you wear it, and we’ll exchange it for another size. A Word on Undersizing Many swimmers believe that in order to swim fast, they need to buy a suit that is too small. When swimmers do this, they shorten the life of their swimsuit. In order to swim fast, swimmers can order a variety of products, including paper suits, streamline suits, and our elite suit (microfiber). These suits are not lined and are therefore lighter. However, we still do not recommend undersizing in any of our products.

14. Sizing kits

Shipping costs for sizing kits:
For teams in the US, does not charge for shipping, as long as the sizing kit is shipped via UPS ground. If any other shipping method is used, the team must pay for the shipping costs for the sizing kit. Teams are always required to pay for the return shipping of the sizing kit. Teams outside the US are always required to pay for any outgoing and return shipping, as well as any US customs charges that may apply, regardless of the shipping method used.

Guaranteeing sizing kits:
When sends a team a sizing kit, we require teams in the US to provide a credit card number to guarantee the sizing kit cost. The credit card will not be charged unless (1) the sizing kit is not delivered back to within 60 days of the outgoing shipment date; or (2) some suits are missing or damaged upon receipt by At this time, the team will be charged for the value of all the suits in the delinquent sizing kit, or the value of the missing suits in the returned sizing kit, as well as the outgoing shipping charge. If the sizing kit is returned after the team’s credit card has been charged, will refund the credit card, minus the outgoing shipping fee, and any applicable restocking fee. Teams outside the US must also provide a credit card number and these teams are immediately charged for the cost of the sizing kit. When the non-US team returns the sizing kit within 30 days of the outgoing shipment date, refunds the credit card for the value of the returned suits.
