Coolmax:
Coolmax is 100% polyester. This fiber is made of four channels that pull moisture away from the skin. It dries five times faster than cotton. Coolmax also offers superior breathability.
|
Duramax:
Duramax is 40% polyester, 60% PBT (texturized polyester with natural stretch similar to spandex), 200 grams per square meter. This fabric is chlorine resistant and has two way stretch, although not as much stretch as Lycra. Duramax is matte and sleek to touch.
|
Knit Polyester:
100% knit polyester is soft to the touch and quick drying. It is similar to the “nylon” swimsuits manufactured back in the 60s and 70s. It is very durable and does not degrade in chlorine.
|
Lycra:
Lycra is knitted 80% polyester, 20% Spandex, 200 grams per square meter. Spandex is the generic name for Lycra, which is our most popular swimsuit fabric. Lycra is sleek and smooth to the touch.
|
MaxResist:
MaxResist is knitted 83% polyester, 17% Spandex, 210 grams per square meter. (Spandex is the generic name for Lycra). MaxResist is sleek and smooth to the touch and is slightly denser and more resilient than our Lycra fabric.
